WHAT A LOW-QUALITY TRANSLATION WILL COST YOU IS THE TRUE REFLECTION OF YOUR GOODS AND SERVICES IN YOUR DESIRED MARKET

YOUR COMPANY'S PROFILE, REGULATIONS AND PRODUCTS CAN COMPLETELY DEVIATE FROM YOUR INTENTIONS  AND DISTRACT YOU AWAY FROM POTENTIAL AGREEMENTS OR THE ADDED VALUE DUE TO LOW-QUALITY SERVICES

The Minimum Quality Criteria that You Must Expect

Translating into their native languages is usually recommended to the translators. Why is this important? All of the following checkpoints matter during a top quality service: mistranslation, presence of untranslated text, spell-check, nonfunctional terminology and inconsistency. However, they are not the only standards to be looked out. As a professional native Turkish speaker, my response for translation requests into English is to arrange the text to proofread by a native English-speaking colleague. Let's see the examples below as the mistakes that I specify and explain not only make the text inaccurate but also less fluent. Just a note for the 3rd sample: a life sciences linguist must avoid creating or inserting new terms in order to mean what is already known well in the target language. Also, you don't have to keep your expectations low or at minimum as the consequences will directly affect the value you need to add to your business or market.
